Last night I posted a despairing diary with the title “Suicide.” This morning I got up at 6 a.m. and unpublished it with astonishment that I could post such words.
Please let me thank this broken but strong community for standing up so firmly and kindly and wisely to help me. It might have saved my life.
For what it’s worth, I (with the help of God and all of you) have defeated the despair, at least for the moment.
There’s so much to fight for and against!
As I get older, and my health problems increase, I observe that my diaries keep getting shorter. But hopefully they’re concise and clear. I don’t have much stomach these days for endless election post-mortem analysis. But I like diaries from the heart.
