Here’s the full transcript of the incredible anti-Trump speech just delivered by Mitt Romney:
In my whole life I’ve never seen anything like that!
Trump’s announced response at 1:30 p.m. today no doubt will be amusing.
The speech had a lot of standard GOP crap, including veneration of St. Ronald and demonization of the Clintons. But it was RED HOT in roasting Trump about almost every scandal.
The anti-establishment base is not going to listen much to this. But it’s going to STING Trump, and it will cost him lots of votes.
About the only thing Romney did not mention is Trump’s putative mob ties. (Just google “Trump mafia ties” to see that there has been considerable discussion of that in reputable news outlets.)
Given Trump’s putative mob ties, his narcissism, and his incredibly thin skin, I think Romney showed admirable physical courage in making that speech.
Be sure to read the transcript or find a video. It will go down as a famous speech, I predict. It has scores and scores of very memorable lines.
