The conventional wisdom at this site, with lots of exceptions, is that Christians are the main evildoers on the planet. This is fueled by wingnut Republican nonsense, mainly the "war on Christians" bullshit from Hannity and O'Reilly on Fox Spews.
But the fact is that many Christian communities around the world are right now being subjected to persecution, mass murder, and genocide. That's especially true in Iraq and Syria.

Desperate refugees from Libya were fleeing on a boat to Italy. They included refugees from several other war-torn African nations. The majority on the ship interrogated people and tossed 12 Christians overboard to their deaths.
This is just as bad as many other atrocities such as police killings in the United States, about which almost everybody here has gotten very worked up, for good reason.
Let me just recommend that everybody try to be independent and free in their thoughts.
