I was born in Washington, D.C. and have always lived within a few hundred miles of D.C. and the Redskins have always been my team. But they're stuck with The Curse of Dan Snyder, the worst owner in NFL history. Today in the ice and snow they sank to 3-10, clobbered by the Kansas City Chiefs 45-10. Overrated QB Robert Griffin III (who was miraculous last year as a rookie) was benched for the first time. Worst season in many years for the Skins, which is saying a LOT.
Ah, but 8 years ago my wife and I moved to north central Maryland (Carroll County) which is Baltimore Ravens territory, not Redskins territory.
And today the Ravens--playing at Baltimore in nonstop heavy snow and sleet and freezing rain--won the craziest game in NFL history! They defeated the Minnesota Vikings, who had many incredible and heroic plays.
