Trump’s politically motivated murder of Iranian General Soleimani is an outrageous war crime.
Every single talking head I’ve seen, including every Democratic legislator, has gone way out of the way to vilify Soleimani as a major “terrorist.” But they NEVER mention that Soleimani was a staunch and major U.S. ally over the last few years in the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria!
Soleimani was not a terrorist. A terrorist like Bin Laden strikes to create terror and disrupt target nations with fear. Soleimani never did that. He was not a terrorist. He was a top Iranian military commander pursuing Iranian national goals. That conflicted with U.S. interests, but it damn sure did not make him a terrorist.
